I can't remember the last time I had Charlie Chips. My Mom used to have them delivered to our house on Wildwood Pkwy. when I was younger. They would pick up the old can and give you a new one filled with chips. I tried these around Christmas 2021 and it took me back to those days. Thank you.

I ordered this as a Christmas gift. My dad and his family used to get these delivered and I thought it would be a nice sentimental gift to get him. He loved it. Both him and my mom said the chips were good. Wish there had been a (better) explanation about in stock items and shipping for holidays. I ordered in plenty of time but the chip tin and refill seems to be a popular item. Perhaps an indication on the item noting it to be low stock or out of stock and anticipated when stock comes in would be helpful.

These are my favorite chips. Unfortunately the can doesn’t protect the chips as well as the bags do. But we made lemonade—or rather homemade mac and cheese with ships as the topping so all was good.

The only snacks my husband grew up with was Charles Chips potato chips and pretzels. Delivered to their house every week. I bought the chips as a Christmas gift blast from the past. They are so thin, crisp, lightly salted and delicious! We are having a hard time not gobbling them all up at one sitting. I have a new favorite and will definitely order again. May try to waffle chips and pretzels, too!

I someone I follow on FB buy Charles’ Chips for his dad for the holidays. It brought back so many memories. I searched online and purchased the can with refill for my mom for Christmas. I can’t explain how happy & excited she was when she opened the gift! In addition to the chips being delicious, it brought her back to another place in time. Hard to believe that chips would create such an emotional reaction, but they did. My Mom says it was the best gift of 2021!

I would give 5 stars but even though the chips taste as I remembered when I lived in PA, they were pretty well broken in small pieces. Not fun to eat with a sandwich or dips. The chips inside the can were pretty small so I have to think that the bag of chips will be worse. I’ll enjoy using the can for other chips though. Thank you.

Nostalgic, fun memories! My son used to run threw our house (he was two) yelling the "Charlie Chip Man! Charlie Chip Man is here" ! We lived on the Marine Base 29 Palms CA. Great tasting chips had arrived!!! After discovering that old chip can in my cupboard, I sent him a can for his 38th birthday. You see, he now is stationed at Laughlin AFB serving in the U S Air Force. He loved them and commented how they tasted just as good as he had remembered. Charle Chip Man is still alive! Well, being from the East coast--PA I would like to begin with my childhood that started many years ago in the mid to late 1960's. I remember vividly when I first tried Charles chips and it was when at the time they come knocking at your door traveling in their mid size truck and going door to door to sell their delicious chips. The chips were in a mid size tin sealed in a plastic bag for freshness. Now, as young child the expression was extraordinary to say the least as I munch down on the chips I never forgot it. They only come around once in a while and I than never seen them again I missed that moment. However, Charles Chips has to be one of the best chips I've ever tasted, period! I did experience them once again at the Crackle Barrel in Clarksburg, WV on my way to the Veterans Health Care facility as bought me a tin to bring home. And now I found you online thanks for being there!

The chips are delicious but were crumbly. Will probably try ordering again. I realize shipping is hard but they were pretty bad. The bag was even better than the can. Used to have these delivered to our home in the good old days. I'm 69. Even bought them in Florida in the 70's. Love them but wanted to be honest. Would the Waffle chips withstand shipping better?

My wife's family grew up in Ohio, enjoying Charles Chips. Over the years, if anyone traveled there they brought back bags of them. My wife still thinks they are the best chips ever. All her relatives have now passed away and no one returns there, so receiving a tin of chips was a great surprise and brought tears to her eyes.
