By placing an order with Charles Chips, you are accepting our Shipping Policy. If you do not accept or you have questions, please contact us immediately, so we may assist you in answering any questions or concerns. Charles Chips reserves the right to update this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase will apply to your order.

When Do We Ship?

Charles Chips values your business and makes every effort to ship your order as quickly as possible. All orders are processed and shipped within 1–5 business days on items we have in stock, excluding weekends and holidays.

When your order is processed (shipping label created), the email address associated with the order will receive a tracking number.

Orders being delivered within the 48 contiguous states should arrive in 1–5 business days depending on location.

Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, military and air force bases will take an additional 2–5 days for delivery.

Charles Chips is not responsible for any delays couriers may experience.

If your order includes several items, they may ship separately and at different times. You will be emailed a shipping confirmation with a tracking number for every shipment.

Shipping Rates

Free Shipping: Available on orders of $89 or more. Free shipping applies to any product or collection across our entire catalog (it is not limited to "Chips in Tins" or any specific product line). Free shipping is also available through qualifying promotions, such as subscriber-exclusive offers, seasonal promotions, and other limited-time campaigns.

Orders under $89 (without an active free-shipping promotion): Standard shipping rates apply. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the order's weight, size, and destination within the 48 contiguous United States.

Non-Contiguous U.S. Destinations: Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guam, and military/air force bases are subject to additional shipping charges. These charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

International Destinations: Rates vary depending on destination, weight, and order value.

Note: Shipping fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Reliable Shipping Services

USPS Ground Advantage: Delivery typically within 2–5 business days.

UPS Ground: Delivery typically within 1–5 business days.

Product Damages

We pack every order with care, but some breakage may occur due to handling in transit. Pretzels may lose salt or break during shipment. If your order arrives damaged, please email us at customercare@charleschips.com within 72 hours of receiving your order. Please keep all packing materials until your claim is resolved. The carrier reserves the right to examine damaged items for claims. For full details on how to report a damaged order, please see our Return & Replacement Policy.

Open Bags

Bags may occasionally open in transit due to altitude changes or mishandling. Please report within 72 hours to receive a replacement for the affected items.

Shipping Address Policy

Charles Chips is not responsible for items that could not be delivered due to an incorrect or undeliverable address. It is the customer's responsibility to review their shipping address and information for accuracy before completing the purchase.

Replacements will not be issued on the basis of an incorrect address.

If a package is shipped back to Charles Chips due to an incorrect/undeliverable address, we will process a store credit when it is returned to our facility, minus the outbound shipping fee and the return shipping fee. For reattempted delivery, a shipping fee will apply.

Order Changes, Cancellation, and Refused Packages

Order cancellation is a time-sensitive action and is not always possible once an order has been placed. You may cancel an order before it ships if it has not been packed or staged. A 25% cancellation fee will apply.

Once staged for shipping, changes or additions are not possible. All food items are sold on a non-returnable basis. Refused packages are not eligible for a replacement or exchange.

Stolen / Missing Package Policy

Once a package is marked "Delivered" by the carrier, it is considered successfully delivered. Charles Chips is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced packages after this status. Customers must file claims directly with USPS or UPS and, if necessary, file a police report.

Gift Orders

You can mark your order as a gift and add a gift message during checkout. Charles Chips is not responsible for orders intended as gifts but not marked as such.

International Shipping

We offer USPS Priority Mail International and USPS First Class Mail International to select countries. Transit may take up to 30 days. All customs duties, taxes, and fees are the responsibility of the customer. Charles Chips will not mark items as "gift" or declare a lower value.

Force Majeure

Charles Chips will not be held responsible for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, strikes, labor disputes, government actions, pandemics, or carrier disruptions.
